Pathfinder Camporee 2018




This year’s camporee is going to be a special one. We have an amazing Pathfinder Camporee in store.May 18-21, 2018 at Foothills camp.
Our guest speaker is Richard Aguilera from the United States. He is known as “The Mud Guy” from Guide Magazine & 3ABN.  He is a dynamic speaker who has a powerful ministry called “One Mustard Seed.”

Our theme this year is CSI (Christian Scripture Investigation). God wants us to be researchers of the Word, constantly searching and investigating His Word.  We have great activities planned this year. You don’t want to miss it.

Cost: $30/Club + $1.00 per participant and extra for camporee patches and year crests.

Edmonton Adventist Post-Secondary Student’s Meeting


All Adventist Post-Secondary Students in the Edmonton Area are invited to Pizza Supper. Happening on April 6, 2018 at the University of Alberta,  Marigold Room (0-32) Lower level of SUB Building.  The idea is to meet other Adventist students who attend public campus. We will looking to start an Adventist Christian Fellowship Club on the campus of U of A and also starting a chapter at MacEwan University.

We will start with Pizza and fellowship at 6:00 PM, followed by worship and a special presentation on Public Campus Ministry.

Looking forward to meeting you there as we enjoy some food, fellowship and faith.

Young Adult Retreat 2018


Calling all young adults to our first annual Alberta Conference Young Adult Retreat.  It’s a time for young adults to connect with God, connect with others and connect with nature. This year it will be held in the beautiful town of Banff.

Our theme is year is crave, as a young adult there are many cravings out there, but how do you navigate through them all.  Our guest speaker Dr. Floyd Spence will be helping us to look at topics such as identity, mission/outreach,  love and relationships, financial empowerment, social justice and how to strengthen your connection with God.

If you are between the age of 18-35 you don’t want to miss this amazing event.                                                                     Registration is $100 for the entire weekend. This includes food and room for the weekend.

ShareHim South Africa Evangelism Trip

The Alberta Conference Youth Department has been offered the opportunity to partner with ShareHim in taking Youth and Young Adult Volunteers to South Africa for an Evangelism trip from May 7 to 23, 2018. I believe this will be a great opportunity for our Youth and Young Adults, and specifically our Adventist Students that attend public universities and colleges here in Alberta and Northwest Territories. The experience gained on such a trip as this can prove to be very beneficial to these young people in particular, as they would gain experience that can be used on the mission fields in which they socialize on a daily basis, study, and live – the college and university campus and work places.
